I have admired Miss Pearl's chickens for some time now. She has raised some right pretty ones over the years. On one of my first visits to her barn lot, she scooped one up, as if it were a cat, and carried it along as we visited. Living on the same farm all her life, Miss Pearl raises chickens for eggs, bunnies and strawberries. These aforesaid vendibles she sells for extra pin money.
